Laughing eyes, dancing tongue

And a face full of glee! This little cherub was delighted to be photographed. Perhaps someday she will be an actress, comedian, or talk show host…

Acrobatics and Kisses at Zilker Rock

From wild-eyed to docile (she), and from delight to angst (he), I managed to capture a large breadth of personality. And I’ll never forget this sweet boy removing one shoe with great resolve and sprinting around with one bare foot for an entire hour.

Whirling twirling flurry of pink chiffon and sweet smiles

This couple got married at the French Legation and were excited to return years later with their little girl. There was all kinds of construction going on so my hands are raw from removing barricades and signs from the images and recreating part of the beautiful porch…apparently the oldest structure in Austin.

Fabulous hair, fun frolic, smooth moves…

What a cool family. You can see how much they love being together. They are exploding with color, kindness, and good energy. We hung out at Zilker park and I chased them around as they climbed on the rocks and trees, danced, ran races, wrestled, and hugged.

Hansel and Gretel in the Black Forest

These twins could take on the world. But they could also land on the cover of Vogue (Kid Vogue?). They ebb and flow so peacefully and organically like waves. So I’m sure that they would concoct the perfect plan to escape from even the most cunning witch—perhaps by reading eachother’s minds—and would execute it with seamless teamwork.

Dancing Beauty

Those lips! Those eyes! That hair! She’s stunning! My stylist and I had a great time dolling her up in dramatic makeup and experimenting with clothing. I love all the different looks!

Beach Shenanigans

Action on Beach Haven, a gorgeous little sliver of sand off the Jersey Coast massaged by warm rolling waves. You could rise and fall with the surf all day long. An extended family is enjoying a summer reunion—mine!

Flies in Love

Yes, now I do fly photography, too! I mean, look at all that emotion I captured :-)

A Few Hours Old, A Full Head of Hair

I had the honor and privilege of meeting this very young lad amidst his joyful family in the hospital shortly after his birth. His lovely grandma prepared an Indian feast and lined the windowsill with a buffet for us all. No hospital food for this lucky mama!  Everyone was surprisingly light-hearted and well-rested so it felt like a little party. Big sis was delighted with the new specimen but could only be cajoled into one family photograph.
