With three girls…two teenagers and one preteen, I needed someone special to really get the kids to feel comfortable and excited. The day of pictures, we were running late, had a kid with a headache and one who was getting tired before we even got there.
Nina was efficient, engaging and fun … and the girls forgot about their complaints. We had a wonderful session. We got some amazing photographs and had a great time too.
Even the teenagers agree the photos are awesome!

We loved our experience working with Nina Miller! Nina was so attentive and helpful as we prepared for our photo session. And during the session she did whatever it took to get the “good” picture, including performing silly dances on the hike & bike trail. Her photoshop skills are amazing. In one series of shots of the four of us, 2 of us looked good in one shot and the other 2 looked good in another, so she performed her photoshop magic to splice the good shots together in one photo, which turned out perfect! My family’s experience with Nina was way above expectation. While I knew the photos would turn out great, I usually dread taking organized photos—actually any photos. Today, I received our family photos from Nina Miller Studio and I am in awe. Nina is not only a photographer, she is an artist and it shows in the beauty of the work that she produces. She took painstaking time to make sure that every detail was perfect. I am a perfectionist and she outdid me. However, her perfection came across with grace and patience and it was all on her side. She did not expect perfection from me or my family she created it and captured it in the most natural way. Nina captured gorgeous pictures of my 6 month old even when he was fussy and not smiling! She also managed to take flattering pictures of me as a new mother that made me very happy- no small feat! I wanted to look beautiful and serenely maternal but did not quite feel that I was back my normal self on the outside. She understood my insecurities even without me having to verbalize them, and somehow made them magically disappear without rendering the photographs inauthentic or unrealistic.
